' Animal Farm' by George Orwell.A great book. This book was one you donated with others cousin Sue. It had taken me long enough to get round to reading it. It was a novel which gets one thinking on political lines. Also, it shows how the mind-set of animals developed into the mind-set of humans over time. It makes one wonder if given those circumstances the animals would think that way. Quite a thought.

I've just read 'Fatherland' by Robert Harris.
It is a novel about investigations into the death of an old man found in a lake on the outskirts of Berlin. The novel has many twists & turns & gives a few hints of the mindset of the German people during the rein of Hitler. Quite a change from my usual reading. A novel where art imitates life.

That sounds like a good read, I think I would prefer it to your usual stuff, Po!

Dad, turns out I'd already read The Eight by Katherine Neville. I don't know how long ago, but I'd made some notes at the back!
