This new pedometer is much more sensitive to the little steps I take around the house or shuffling around ... I've adjusted it to the best accuracy so think these readings are correct. I was very pleased with yesterday's, because I've never felt my 'working day' readings were particularly accurate. It's quite physical doing what I do, and 16,000 steps sounds about right.

Two days worth, because I didn't get around to photographing last night Was very good, strode the final 2,000 steps in the pouring rain, listening to my audio book, uphill too.

It's made by Oregon Scientific, but doesn't appear on this page ... I think mine may have been a reduced price product they don't make any more - it certainly has a lid like this, but not the high price or the pulse monitor Link

(this is 16th and 17th June - I forgot to reset the counter!) The steps are proving remarkably easy - I think the numbers on here are quite generous though. Despite that, perhaps it's time to up the challenge ... maybe do some overnight youth hostelling, it doesn't need much planning - just get up and go!

20th June - this is what a no walking day looks like, most of it spent sitting in a car, the pub and my parents' lounge
