Yes hope your dentist visit went well Sue. .......... Yesterday was very windy here. Found my blue wheelie bin blown over & lying on the ground. ......... Not sure if I'm doing much today. I've been looking at maths revision books & realized how much I have forgotten. I may do a few sums today. I think watching 'Are You Smarter than a 10 year old' on telly has got me wanting to answer the questions. I must say when I went to school we didn't learn such a wide range as they do today. So my fav prog on telly at mo is that one, followed by 'Judge Judy'........ Have a good day all.

Hope your weather was good in Ireland, suze, it's been a bit cold and grey here.
Pauline, you made me chuckle when you wrote about 'Are you Smarther ...'. My husband takes a very elderly friend out once a week and this gentleman absolutely loves it. For the past two weeks he has spent large parts of the day repeating questions he's seen on the programme, in fact last week apparently he was testing the lady sitting in front of him on the bus for about 30 minutes - a slight acquaintance from our village but not someone he knows ;D
It's all a bit odd here - there is so much to do with the house move/downsize plus the wedding that I feel quite rigid, if you see what I mean. We've re-visited the flat and as the seller/executor hasn't cleared it out yet it comes across as quite melancholy, despite all the fresh paint and smart fittings. We still can't work out how and what to fit in and I'm thinking how much I will miss our house, our view, the lovely bathroom .... I think a good solution may be to make the house *less* comfortable and buy treats for the new flat like fancy blinds, new mugs, .... it may also include getting rid of our cooker before Christmas - Minnie has offered to try cooking Christmas lunch at her place which is great.

We had a great time in Ireland, worth doing even though a bit of a dash and no doubt B wil be tired lated .. the kids are lovely and we enjoyed being there with them again ... it's only the third time I've met them, really, since the girls were toddlers ... but they are all very quick to relax with us, and we get on really well

Yes sorry you not well Nat. Also sorry you on the meds too Anne. To be honest, I too am on mood lifting meds as well. Yes they do help. ....... Anyway, today starts very cold here. The sun is popping out now. I'll soon be watching Judge Judy on the box. ...... Hope everyone is either feeling well, or getting better from not feeling well. So lets all make the best of this day then.

I am not on mood-meds ... I am finding the love of a good woman is working for me ... Off to Liverpool now to meet up with Rini (remember her mum? she has a house up near the City General and live in Belfast now .. ) she's presenting a conference so I'm going to hear one of the papers (about cancer patients as it happens) then we will get a meal together, I think xxxxxx

I think that's the very best isn't it - being loved Thanks for your good wishes Pauline. I think they have helped me get going on things I need to do to make my life happier and less depressing - like selling the house for example, making realistic plans for the future .. - just heard Prince William to marry Kate Middleton - I have an American friend who will go nuts with joy over this piece of news! aaaaarrrgghhhh! ;D ;D I shall take a walk to Tesco, in the sunshine ..

Well yes Sue, being loved does help raise the mood & that cannot be knocked. And I'm sure it helps with recovery, as opposed to being alone & isolated. ........... I have the love of family & enough friends, but I do get this stress condition which is hard to explain really. ........ Hope you are improving Nat. And I know you are loved too. So maybe you'll be better soon. ......... Hope Anne that you also are getting better. There is quite a bit of stress with happy things, like the wedding for instance. And the house thing too. Of-course you've just had the loss of Murphy, which was very sad. A lot of mixed things going on there. But I'm sure you'll make it. You've got this far. ........... Yes it is good news about the royal wedding. Great news. ..... I remember seeing the wedding of Charles & Di on the telly at the hospital when I was a nurse. That was exciting at the time. Guess it's time to get back into the positive frame of mind. ............ I'm working on it anyway. .......... Sue, hope you have a great time meeting Rini. I almost forgot to say that.
