Fingers crossed for you both x
I must do some more volunteer gardening - have been a little lazy lately. It's hard to do when money is short though - we need people to donate barrow loads of manure, suitable plants, etc. It's frustrating.
I love this bud burst time of year in general. The woods which surround us here are changing every day; perhaps it's a silly little thing, but watching things grow really does perk me up.

I must be very much like you in my way of thinking about things Anne, I to marvel at all the beauty of things growing. I to love this time of year when new shoots appear, daft as it seems even the weeds. I marvel at the changing images in the clouds and when Im not in a active mode can see before my very eyes moving pictures as each cloud fades or moves away. Though Im not a dog lover as such I love Julies Bruno and most wild animals, T.V. gives a wonderful incite to their world. Yes I do like nature and all that it gives to us, like you it does perk me up. Like I have said before Im no special gardener but I do like seeing things pop up. Bye for now L.M. xxxxxx

Managed to get a few pots out of the greenhouse ,surprised to see my lovely lily type flowers well up, I have given them some nourishment, and put them on the step just here where Im siting. I had almost covered them in crunched up paper to stop the cold during the winter,so Im very pleased its saved them. The lawn looks good now Joes cut it, I may get the strimer out if its warmer tomorrow, and trim round the bushes and trees. Bye for now LM. xxxxx

Still growing your own tomatoes Mum? Remember all those you grew in Coventry? It was always good exercise carrying the watering can up and down. The tomatoes always taste better fresh from the garden. Which variety do you grow?
Anyway, good to know you are still growing heathy food. About time I had a greenhouse.
I'd hoped to do a dash to Dorchester this week, but found myself with a cold which I didn't want to share. I'll get down in the summer, think I will get the train whenever I come.

Hope he can manage it on his scooter.Warmer today so Ill probably do some gardening after lunch, Im sick of Ivy, the gardens been a bit wild with me having been a bit poorly. I did get men in to lop the trees and Joe cuts the lawns but as for new stuff and weeding it been a bit much for me. Pressing on with it now that the weathers geting better. Bye now L.M. xxxxxxx
