Yes, the fans were great, and they have had a brilliant experience, even though they didn't win ... their team have reached new heights this season x

Evening, people. Sorry, sorry, sorry but I was delighted by the football result. Comes of growing up in a City household, I reckon! I am now a card carrying member of the local Nutters ;D ;D The name for the early morning swimming group at the nearby outdoor pool. I've been so keen that I turned up at 6.30 last Wednesday morning....... only to discover that they didn't open for the season until yesterday! So, for the last two mornings I've been in the water before 7 and it has been glorious, it'll take some time to get back up to speed but 30 lengths this morning felt like a sensible start. Hope all is well with everyone x

Hi everyone - we are back from the van for a couple of days whilst I catch up with post, washing, appointments, etc. I had a good report yesterday at Doctors re BP, sugars and cholesterol, so this weight loss appears to he helping. My fantastic news this week is that eldest son's girlfriend is expecting twins - 100% certain that one is a boy and 90% sure that the other is a girl (she already has a boy aged 5) so this combination is great. Sorry we missed you the other week Sue - how did you cope with climb up to Holywell? Look forward to seeing you shortly - when the sun shines. I have not had my bike out yet but have been walking longer distances along the promenade. Thinking of you.

:)Good news Barbara, probably a girl in your family to. Pleased to hear your good news at the Drs. we have a few medic visits this week and the early part of June, havnt had any for awhile. I took a walk to the market to look for a few bits, then took the bus back. Its dull at the moment having said that I have just hung out some washing because its windy. The pictures of S and Bs kitchen are really nice we were looking at both places on here this morning and both the shed and home are beautiful. Gosh I nearly got killed this morning I went across the car park at the market and this 4-4 maniac reversed at full speed dashing for a space and nearly killed me, needless to say I told him to take care next time he reversed. Bye for now L.M. xxxxxxx

hiya
great news Barbara .. really exciting about the babies, and also your own health, bravo ..
we were in Wales again today, but much more leisurely, we only went to Bodnant, which was amazing and had lunch in Llandudno and walked the prom, then back to Chester to meet B and walk around the city walls .. we have only just got back
DAD - I heard your voicemail, but it is too late to start phoning now .. I was off to meet Andy for our jaunt to Wales this morning, he went to Chester on the train and I picked him up and drove us out ...
I will be keeping myself very busy over the next two days, at the club, driving up and down between here and Stoke, seeing friends, etc ... so you will be probably not catching me on the phone, but I will let you know the news after I see abababadooo circa 7pm on Friday x

ps climb to Holywell was OK! we luckily didnt meet much traffic, but when we did at the top, we had to get off to let him past and we couldnt get back on cos it was so steep!
the views from up there are great, and we will do that ride again .. we made it to Colwyn Bay then got on the train back to Chester ...
today we had the bikes on the car roof with us, but I was very low-energy and didn't actually feel like wrestling with them, so we just walked, the sun came out and it was lovely on the beach there, so that made a change for us ...

Congratulations Barbara, how lovely Jane - I met up with an old schoolfriend of mine recently - she lives in edited and was talking about the sea swimmers - she made a point of cheering them on last Christmas Day Hope the granite arrived, suze We had a lovely visit to Brownsea Island thankyou m n' d. We were split into small groups and taken around the reserve area, our guide spent two hours with us - very interesting. We also saw a number of red squirrels - one of them was running around a tree branch just on the footpath we were walking, very unusual apparently. I took a photo :0 Went to my art group on Monday morning, and did so well the secretary invited me to her afternoon group! ;D That was also very good, but i think I may have inadvertently forged past people on a waiting list, but hopefully this will be permanent. It means I can spend all day doing my arty stuff with other people - I spoke to about 40 people on Monday, it's so very, very different from my old life in Tuppence-on-Severn ;D Completed an abstract in blue acrylic and tissue paper, which I'm really pleased with. suze - tomorrow I will start an art thread for all us to show off our creative stuff, in the photo section.
