yes, it is great news .. and it would be great to see you again ..
I think that school reunion thing was less than 20 years ago, but damned if I can remember how long ago it was! This is either chemo-brain or just getting older!

1. How do you know suze?
She was the stranger who became a friend. She had little say in the matter, mind. ;D
2. How do you COPE with knowing suze?
It's a tough job, but they pay me well.
3. Fave food?
Everything, except seafood. <--- Ignoring the onslaught of see-food-and-eat-it jokes, namely because I do see food and eat it. All the time. <Sigh>
4. Fave drink?
Morrisons Orange, lemon and pineapple cordial. Cheap date, me.
5. Fave medicine?
Calpol. The child's elixir of life.
6. Fave TV show?
At the moment, I'd have to say Come Dine With Me, Hotel Inspector (Suze, I recommend), The Apprentice and Jnr Apprentice...
7. Is there a talent you wish you had?
I wish I was an urban street dancer. I also wish I was thin.
8. Clowns? cute or scarey?
Horrendous.
9. Thing you're most likely to get into a rant about?
Some people’s complete lack of regard for the planet. And ignorance.
10. Thing most likely to brighten your day?
Nature. Be that a flower, a walk in a park, or a particularly alluring cloud formation.
And lastly, give us a bit of advice?
Take time out– when life is getting on top of you, slow down. Get some fresh air. Stand in nature.
AND
Take out time– when you enjoy something, don’t worry about what time it is. Take time out of the equation and just be.

OK, maybe the lifetime of experience helps with the coping.

1. How do you know suze? From a messageboard - we've both been on it about five years now I think, at least. 2. How do you COPE with knowing suze? I strap quartz crystals onto my third eye and heart chakra with elastoplast before reading her posts and recite the Fear Litany of the Benegesserit from Dune. 3. Fave food? Tarka Dal (garlic lentil dish - made without chilli which I am allergic to) 4. Fave drink? Coffee - but I am not really able to have it because of my dodgy kidneys and bladder. Waaah. 5. Fave medicine? Homoeopathic 6. Fave TV show? I don't do a lot of TV and no regular shows. Film and special drama and drama docs really. 7. Is there a talent you wish you had? Driving. But it is too late to learn and too hard as I have a kind of obsessive compulsive disorder that would make it very difficult. 8. Clowns? cute or scarey? NOt scarey but terribly terribly embarassingly boring. Though I did go to a fooling workshop once because a lover was running it and I didn't want to let her down. It was not too terrible but fooling is better than clowning. 9. Thing you're most likely to get into a rant about? Ageism and all the other discriminations. Misogyny Homophobia and Racism esp. Class. People not caring about climate change and just carrying on regardless. 10. Thing most likely to brighten your day? Sex. Performance (me doing it, I don't mean performing sex , but drama...). Cats And lastly, give us a bit of advice? Retirement is fabulous if you live hedonistically and without any guilt whatever and ignore all current vile propaganda about older people being a burden on society.

Hello and welcome, v.v. I think we may have met very briefly on that other board, discussing ageism actually, ha! I used to go under the name of 'guppy' but fancy myself as more of a pike nowadays. Actually, there is a lovely poem about an ancient and venerable pike(?) by Elizabeth Bishop, I must look it up and post it in the poetry thread when I have time ... one of my favourites.
I do agree with your thoughts on retirement, but wish I could train myself to stop feeling guilty about it.
