So exciting that your house might finally sell and you can move on, anne ..
We had a fairly quiet weekend, packing stuff for our next sunny trip was the main agenda, dong some chores, paperwork a and otherwise generally taking it easy .. I was a bit flagged after flu jabs, but think it is psycho-somatic!
We had breakfast on Trentham Gardnes on Sat am -- inside, looking out over the green down to the lake and the next day we went for lunch on the terrace at hte Italian place, we actually sat out in the sun for that .. very nice!

don't think it's psycho-somatic Suze, I have no get up and go today, and my arm is sore.
very exciting Anne, fingers crossed for you.
Not much news from me, had a bit of a buggy thing last week so all plans cancelled, and went with it, don't usually do that but wanted to recover as soon as possible.
Have a pair of clowns working in house, firstly they put the wrong window in, and then managed to knock most of a bedroom wall down, dust everywhere, and tempers begining to fray.
can't believe we are heading into winter already, and of course Xmas....another year without my daughter home, but she is scheduled to return home for 2 weeks in February..can't wait,
I have not seen her for 18 months, so that's likely to be a bit of a celebration!..and even more exciting she is bringing her partner ,who we have never met, tho' they have been together for nearly 2 years.
did I say exciting or scary!!

All heads and tails here .. Written offer received on house Made firm offer on modern fitted flat in Wells, one kilometre east of Cathedral Will know tomorrow morning if our purchasers can get a mortgage Wells seller having collywobbles, however we hope to go ahead with sale tomorrow. I am woman. I roar. Daughter having one and half hour MRI to head and spine tomorrow (sounds awfully long ..) (her cp may be affecting position of skull on spine, etc etc) Have to organise wedding buffet Must start sewing her a white cloak to go over her blue wedding dress Write out wedding invitations, and stick glittery hearts onto all 40 Further chucking out of 'stuff' Scrub oven Sadly Murphy Cat died, and I miss her Narrowly avoided heart attack this morning, heard a miaow, door slid open ..... Murphy Ghost? No - neighbour's cat (but don't know which neighbour). Need to quilt quilt Not working tomorrow, something else in diary which I can't read - (probably MRI scan for daughter)

Hope you had a lovely time in L'pool suze, and you this evening Pauline
Still no firm news on any purchasers' financial viability, but hope to have it first thing tomorrow ... I threw in our cooker, washing machine and fridge/freezer while huband was out of house .... (the flat has brand new fittings, completely unused washer/dryer)
Minnie works for the public service sector, but she seems fairly philosophical about it ... thinks she may be ok ... I feel very lucky sometimes, not to have all that worry and bother anymore.
Edit to add - exciting news about your daughter, jan, bet you can't wait to see her and her partner!

Well it's been a beautiful day here today, after a crisp and frosty morning.
Updating our house move situation - our prospective purchasers have also gone on holiday, but our estate agent tracked them down, LOL! They return on Thursday and will make a new offer on Friday. Hopefully our seller will wait until then ... I can hardly believe this has only been going on for 11 days!

Great news Anne. Time will fly now for you. ... Yes, hope all the coughs get better. .. I'm as well as I can be & I must say the absence of the (hernia), which is what it was, under a diff name, seems to be holding up. ......... Yesterday son-&-heir drove to 'The Windmill' Werrington for family meal, followed by a drive to Leek & back. ....... Nothing else to report really.
Hope we are all feeling well.
