More tips, mum! Luckily I was not considering entering for X-factor!
We made great progress with decorating the living room this weekend and I have a little schedule for the rest of it this week so I should get it finished before I see the doctor again (a week tomorrow)
I am in Stoke, obviously ... but that was planned anyway to take collection of he new washer! Tomorrow I will be dossing about with Mr K and then the PET scan will be on Wednesday ..

The last glimpse of the 80's terracotta paper getting covered up last night B has painted both parts of the ceiling twice this weekend and got this first layer of white paint on all the walls. It is not such a hard job cos there is not much gloss to do now that at all the windows are plastic and the door is new! I was really exasperated at the idea of being in treament again and still gazing at these orange walls and dark blue carpet .. the only bit of the house that was left to do after this year's major revamp ... so the old carpet has gone and the new one is ordered .. the lovey man in the local shop will fit it in a week's time so I must get on with the decorating! LOL Luckily we had already chosen our colours (which we then used in the hall and bedroom so it will be all of a piece now ... )

Yesterday's weather was perfect for cycling, so tootled off for a short ride alone. Only for about an hour, (via Warwick Uni) but it was good to get outside and see some pretty places.
Susan, who are you going with to Brum? Been Googling PET scans, what I mainly learned is that there are some really clever people. Which is reassuring right now.

Mark, am going to Brum on my own, on the train, then in the afternoon my pal Jan is coming over to see me there ...
you are advised not even to talk while you wait for the scan, so going alone seems alright ..

morning
B is chopping me apple and banana for my breakfast ... dunno why I have gone back into patient mode BEFORE any treatment ... I'm just a natural for it, obviously! Or taking too seroiusly the notion of taking it easy the day before the PET scan!
So today I will be taking it easy ..

It was great seeing Barbara and Cliff at the weekend, although they left here with ptsd given the Adele experience. Taking care of the twins will feel like light relief after that endurance test. Not sure but I think some people were actually laughing at us Sue. Yes I can see you are shocked at the very idea. Take it easy and keep everything relaxed for tomorrow - which seems impossible, but you are always good at pulling the impossible out of the bag. love you xxxxx

Hello everyone. Good luck with scans today Sue. I've only just found out you are going today, or maybe already been by now. ......... Don't think I've mentioned this before but Craig & I have gone down the vegetarian route. It's been two months now! We eat fish & are not really strict, but no meat at all. It was Craig's idea to start with & I joined him. It isn't as difficult as I thought. In fact it is a whole new world really. ...... Just getting over a chest infection & I have passed some germs on to the rest of the family. Only taken lemsip for it. Anyway, I'm pulling through. .... Hope everyone feels well.
