I think it is good your Bristol ppl want you to continue, Anne .. and I hope you can do it, for the kids' sake and for yours. KAREN .. good news about your bike getting fixed ... Decorating, funny we are all on it ... it must be an early Spring-Cleanign thing .. roll on Spring. Tonight we have a mate for dinner who WON the Come Dine With Me when it was in Stoke .. so no pressure then! I've posted the link, but only advise watching if you are already a fan of CDWM! Our mate is the hairdresser, Jay! He's a lovely guy x I am going to do this lovely dish with salmon and fennel that I did last week for the first time ... it looks nice but is mainly just in the over baking, which is easy to deal with ..

Signing in this morning with a slightly sore head , self-inflicted so no sympathy expected. WV's birthday yesterday, enough said? We had a lovely day, started on Thursday evening with dinner followed by a very small gig with Steve Knightley (note to self: add a clicky later, once fully awake!) Yesterday, following presents, we drove to Plymouth to our favourite sushi place for lunch before visiting the National Marine Aquarium. Then home for an evening with friends. Sat up until 4 drinking 12 year old single malt and roasting chestnuts. As I don't really drink these days the head is telling me about it this morning, albeit in a very gentle manner. So, as I say, self inflicted! Hope all are well and enjoying the sunshine - crisp walk along the beach this morning is the plan but I suspect that may be shelved in favour of something less strenuous

Sounds like you have had a good time, even if you are paying for it today!
My sister and her family are very keen on sushi, though I only like a little bit of it at any one time ..
We've been slow to stir today, but we have done a bit of work .. I did painting and B did lesson planning!
Off out to look for a new blind.

Crikey mum, as if you'd move your cabinet with all that stuff in it! haha, you could make a mosaic with the shards, I guess!
I did a bit mor painting yesterday, and we were very tired so didn't do too much
Just about to grab a break in the clouds and go out for a ride in the locality
I have lots of mates planned in for next week to take my mind off the date with Adab on Friday, so don't worry if you can't catch me on the phone ... I am keeping busy and keeping fit too!

Hello folks. Hope all is well. ........... Cold & dry weather today. No grat plans today. We are having fish for tea today which is said to be brain food. ......... Wishing you all the best Sue for Friday. Will be thinking of you then. ........... The decorating is going very slow here. Half the skirting boards are still waiting, as it required furniture moving for one start. Also, some wall preparation & polifilering has started. anever mind. All in good time. ........ Hope everyone feels well today.

Hello there. Raining here in Stoke. Just got back from town. All shopping done now. The countdown now for tomorrow. For those who don't use facebook or get the birthday warnings on there, it is son-&-heir's 21st birthday. I've wrapped his pressies now. And we are going to have an evening family meal tomorrow. Not sure where yet, but think it will be an Indian restaurant. .................. Have a good day all.

Hiya Pauline, hope you and Craig have a good meal tomorrow.
Have you tried Schaeffers? I cant remember if you mentioned it the other day? We are calling that our favourite Indian Restuarant at the moment .. they have smarter space than many and good flavours in our favourite dishes! (If you dont know it, it's the one that was The Elms not that long ago, on Snow Hill, just up from Cauldon College ...
I have done the exercise class today, it does not seem to get much easier ! Then I put on a coat of emulsion in the box room ... .. it is nearly finished now, but the wardrobes wont be ready for a couple of weeks ...

A Very Happy 21st to Craig, hope you all have a lovely meal tomorrow Pauline! I've just come back from a talk at the Wells Group of the Somerset Wildlife Trust, very good from the meeting and mingling point of view, but also an interesting speaker, Graham Harvey www.guardian.co.uk/profile/grahamharvey discussing farming methods and healthy food - I must remember to put something in the diet thread ... Had a haircut too, that's the second time in January

We are also going to meet up with B later, and go to her fave tapas bar .. El Rinco de Rafa
