:)Happy Birthday Tracy, Hope the card arrived O. K. I posted it Monday. Do hope the antibiotics are helping to make you feel better. Been a rather cool windy day but the suns out now so it may warm up a bit. Anne I think its like living in a bungalow when you are on one level. I try to keep all doors closed when in the kitchen by myself to stop food smells waffting into the hall and bedrooms. With a house any bathroom spray ect. rises and goes out of the window but on a same level they hang about a bit more. I have just fetched in some jacket potatoes and washed them ready for tea we are having a simple meal, Im doing beans with them.Hope everyone as a nice weekend Bye now L.M. xxxx P.S. Hope Less is O.K. Pauline.xx

Happy Birthday to your SIL, Tracy, suze Yes - mn'd, good advice. We have one of those cooker hoods now, perhaps I should use that more often .. anyway now the weather is nicer we can leave the French windows open for a while each day. We had Co-op fish pastries for tea, with salad. K and I did a Museum Reception stint together - as soona s we arrived we were informed the minister of tourism was arriving shortly to look around with the curator, and meet the Tourist Info Officer who sits at the opposite desk. I was convinced this was an April's Fool, but it wasn't .... ... the local press arrived, then a big man came in and asked if it was ok for him to enter .. and he seemed very nice, went around the museum for 20 mins then came downstairs and spoke to local councillors etc. Meanwhile some bemused tourists crept into the melee for tourism advice and museum tickets ...

Happy April all. ....... Happy birthday Tracy. Hope you are well. ...... Belated birthday greetings Anne. Sorry I missed it. Didn't get the reminder on Facebook. I tend to rely on that now. Ooops. I see now why you had the camera. Hope you had a good time. ......... Les is recovering well thanks. He just has to take it easy for a couple of weeks. ......... Went to Tesco shopping today. Just a routine day I suppose. ...... Hope everyone is well today.

Thanks for all the felicitous salutations for Tracy on her birthday. Yes, she does read everybody's comments, despite never making any comments of her own on here. Those comments, plus the lovely cards our family sent, meant a lot. Tracy gets a double dose of fuss this weekend with Mothers' Day too. So, two boxes of chocs . Extra flowers. Several perfumes. And a huge stash of new clothes. But she still might help me cook dinner!
The antibiotics have shrunk the lump behind Tracy's ear. We are fairly sure it will reappear though. All a bit mystifying.

Happy Mothers Day to all. ....... Well today I had 2 lovely cards from Craig + chockies & a DVD with Al Pacino in. Title escapes me at the mo, as the DVD is downstairs I'm up here, I think I'll leave the details till after it's viewed. Oh yes, & the reason for 2 cards is that 1 is from the cats (but they can't write or read) which has been written on by son-&-heir. ........ Well I hope we all have a good Mother's Day. I am spending today at home which is good as I don't feel like going out. In fact, I'm out most days so it is a change really to be at home all day. .......... Well Tracy, I'm glad the lump has shrunk. Infections can spring up all over the place, & we usually don't know how it all began. Anyway, sounds like it's on the way out. ....... Just finished lunch & feel a bit sleepy now. I think I'll be having a nap soon. Son-&-heir is watching the Simpson's on telly & it's my guess he'll be back soon. So I will say bye for now.

Hello all. Hope everyone feels well. ... Quite a busy day here. Craig & I were blood donors again today. It went off quite well, but it was a slower pace than usual. We were in there longer than usual somehow. ... After that we went to Stoke shopping + I bought a dressing table from the Heart Foundation charity shop. I bought it for the sewing machine really. However, I may not use it for that really. There is space to sit & put my knees under one side, & there are 3 drawers on the other side. It looks good anyway. .... Anyway, I'll be having a lie down soon. Bye.

Why are you sorry about the kitchen, Anne? Not having a kitchen is not a problem when you've got a shed to live in .. we are dossing about enjoying the sun on our deck here ... lovely.
We never fancied getting the kitchen done b4, because of the scale of upheaval and mess ... the dust is everywhere cos he has had to take the old tiles off (two layers) and go back the brick ... and the ceiling is being replaced ... but once it is done, it will be amazing ... I'm sure x
B used our camera a lot in Paris and will take it away with her to New York ... I think it's a bad habit to rely too much on my phone, and will maybe get into using the camera again this summer ... look forward to seeing your works, as ever, Anne.
