Hiya
Sorry to hear of your plumbing stress, Karen. It is one of my least favourite issues, so stressful when water is going everywhere, or when you cannot have the water turned on! I am a bit apprehensive about the winter in the shed after last year's traumas ...
Well we are back from the quick jaunt to Ireland, which was lovely .. but now I seem to have a sore throat, probably picked up a virus on the plane ... so feel a bit more tired than usual!
Yes, very exciting about new twins on the way ...

Plumbing.. it's the depths, is there any more worrying part of home maintenance? I wish I'd been steered in to being a plumber when I was at school, what a useful thing to learn. Anyway, Karen you must be very.. er, happy to have the loo sorted out.
What's the latest news of Octavia and the twins? I thought the arrivals were due today.

Very pleased to report the safe arrival of James (7.4) and Imogen (6.10) on Monday 10/10. Mum and family came home on Wednesday evening and are well - except of course for lack of sleep! We will be returning home on Saturday whilst Octavia's mum visits for a week and then I will return and be on duty until goodness knows when.

Wonderful news Barbara. Really pleased it turned out well. I'm sure we are all looking forward to the pics when you get the chance. ..... All's well at Harris Towers. We are all feeling good. I do have a hospital app., next Wed, but never mind. I also see the surgeon the week following & I have no idea if my hernia will be operated on at some stage. But anyway things are OK at the mo., ...... Just a routine day today which includes shopping for food etc. Dry weather, so that's good. ... Hope everyone feels well today.

Have had a nice few days with Susan this week.We had a nice time shopping ect. Sue dropped us off at the bus stop so we could go to Wey. Susan then carried on towards home. We went down on the bus but caught the same bus back Dad was unable to walk. The sea was rough and it was dull in Wey. nothing like the lovely sun we had up here. Stripped the bed and washed it, just fetched it in now its dry. Must say its gone dull here now. Have a good journey home Barb. pleased every things going on O.K. with the babies and Octavia. Yes after a bit you wonder what happened to sleep. Does get better though. Will ring over the weekend. Fred went out to Maiden castle for a ride on his scooter after lunch he enjoyed it. We go for our flu jab tomorrow. Bye for now L.M. xxxxxx

Great news about the babies Barbara, maybe the best thing I've heard all year.
Mum and Dad, pleased you've had some time with Susan.
Dad, can you get right up to Maiden Castle with the scooter? I like it up there.

Great news Barbara .. I am so pleased for you and Dominc and Octavia. Very exciting news.
Yes, I have been off the radar with being at mum n dad's this week, and in Ireland the weekend before. Am just resting and sorting stuff today. Had a lovely time with the family, did lots of walking with Julie and the dog every day, which was lovely in the woods.
Took me an age to get back yesterday, but hey ho ... I got here in the end ...
B and I went out for a nice meal at an Indian restaurant we've not used b4 .. on her route home from school .. I drove over to pick her up cos she was cycling and out of puff .. It was good cos there was a range of proper vegetarin options on the main courses, which is unusual round here!

Went to Drs then over to Tesco Dad in his scooter, I was walking. Took ages to get back home due to the fact we were talking for ages to the X manager of Tesco and his wife. After lunch walked around town, I went into the camping shop to see if they had any suitable gear for Dad to use if it rained, they had a rain coat that went into a small bag which would have been ideal but the largest one would not fit him. Just going to check the lottery so Bye for now L.M. xxxxxxx

Just going to bed. Dads eyes are painful tonight, hes already gone to bed. Went to town after lunch to get Dads new prescription from Boots. Did spaghetti bol. for tea it was very tasty. I think we are both a bit glum with the latest news from his biopsy. A bit daunting to think he may need a kidney transplant in the near future. I was convinced it all was O.K. with not hearing anything about it. bye for now L.M. xxxxx
