Is this because I said earlier I identify with Radar from M*A*S*H? I suppose I was thinking of the goofy look with glasses. More than that though was his job - I spent most of my working life tending to the needs of doctors once they were away from their patients, a bit like Radar did.

Just finished watching on BBC2 the programme 'My Life in Books' featuring Sue Perkins and Giles Coren presented my Anne Robinson and I have thoroughly enjoyed it, so much so, that I had to watch yesterdays episode featuring P D James and Richard Bacon. It is a programme that I will have to record. The programme has a flavour of desert island discs but through books. I would recommend.

3-30 Had to get up had chronic cramp in my leg. Finished the puzzle It was a mermaid and a horse and the reflection in the water, because it was so big it had to be done more or less sideways on making it a bit more difficult. It is a Ravensburg one I do like that make of puzzle. Hope everything was O>K> at the shed yesterday. We took a trip on the bus after lunch to Bridport, went to this place who sell curtains, wasn't to impressed with the patterns and most of them had those big rings at the top. 4-0 Dads just come in to see if Im. O- K. told him to go back to bed, its easing of now so may join him when Ive done this. Byexxx

I am thinking of buying some system to do recording of programmes .. but I need to get a satalitte dish at the shed first! One of my mates was saying how sharp P D James seemed in that programme, more on the ball than Bacon, and she is in her 90s now, I believe? Just off to Wales, hope it stops raining by the time I get there! x

What a nice day, we went to Weymouth for the food from Aldi and Morrisons. After lunch we went to monkey world, it was much warmer than of late, we enjoyed it. Nearly all the monkys were outside enjoying the sun. The plummer came and fixed the pipe at 9-15 so Fred was able to take me to the Drs for my blood test. You have never seen such a mess of my arm when I took the plaster off. Hope you got on O.K. at the Dentist Mark. Did your Wales trip go alright Susan with MR K. Pleased the shed had weathered the winter, bet you cant wait to be back there. Bye xxxx

Had our first evening meal out on the deck last night -- it has generally been too cold in the evening since we could live here
should have taken a photo .. let me tell you what we had:
stuff I made: rice salad with peppers, sweetcorn, almonds, raisins and turmeric dressing tomato and basil salad cooked spinach and yogurt salad rocket and watercress with artichokes salad broccoli ginger and onion salad with hoisin dressing roasted asparagus
stuff I bought: mini falafals garlic and corainder nan bread humous brie and stilton
It was a colourful and tasty ant-cancer feast. Mr Woolf was here with us and I wanted to put on a good spread, and give us some left overs for tonight too .. it was very pleasant to eat such lovely salads again after a winter of boiled and baked stuff!

We have been eating outside a few days at lunch time, it is to cool at tea time the suns moved round by then making more shade. Good job you have the shed to relax in, I reckon it was worth the money to give you this dust free space. May go to Weymouth tomorrow on the bus if its sunny,we dont have buses on bank holidays here. Be careful when cleaning at the house you dont get dust in your lungs. Bye for now L>M>xxxx
