Afternoon all - I've been catching up on all the news and send best wishes to everyone. The Pomander Workshop I organised at the Museum was a bit of a washout unfortunately, but never mind. Have had an invitation to the Lifeskills party in Bristol and am very tempted to return there as a volunteer. Plans for my little online shop are still going ahead. In the meantime we are getting ready for Christmas as follows Christmas Eve - Midnight service at the Cathedral Short sleep - open presents Walk in the woods and down into town for some Christmassy drinks Back home for our Wild Welsh Cow steaks and salad Six hours of tv. luvverly

Blimey, I'm not very good at searching for places to meet and eat. Two hours of searching the Lickey Hills area on Google haven't found much, Luke is having a try now. I was surprised to find Malvern is 55 miles away, yet have been there quite a few times. Strange never to have realised the distance.

Susan, how about The Stag and Three Horseshoes in Halesowen? B62 9BB. Not too far from Junction 3 off the M5. Looks like it would do. Hope you are feeling fit to travel. x

Just looked again and think The Wildmoor Oak, just by junction 4, might be more like it, plus easier to get to for us all.

Took me long enough, but finally discovered the Good Pub Guide. Seems the Navigation, at Stoke Wharf (near canal) is 'worth a visit', that would be exit at junction 5. And is in the right area. Or if you fancy dropping in to Worcester there are a couple of options. There is most likely a Pizza Express there if you didn't fancy the pub option.
Everyone ready for the Strictly finale?

OK, Navigation it is, unless a further search turns up anything even better. I'm just having another look.
